  7. Hey everyone,Smartwatches are the new gadget out there that really grabs my attention, so I'd like to get my has on one. The only thing holding me back is that I'm not sure which one to get. Price, being a usual factor, goes along with my desire for new features. So, I'm asking anyone who's been following them, what's a budget smartwatches that's packed with cool features and what you think is a modest price? And I Have known the AllCall W1, seems with good fatures and the price only 100$ in Aliexpress, but I Don't familar with this.. Have anyone give some advice?

  12. samsung gear vs android 2.0

Looking into my first smartwatch and looking for advice, i use a google pixel XL for a phone What I want it for: 1: fitness/health tracking: HR monitor is a must, standalone GPS would be nice. 2. LTE connectivity doesn't matter 3. local music storage would be a plus, I use spotify, i know samsung can store spotify offline, can android do it yet? 4. the more battery the better My concerns, do i lose much by using the samsung OS on the pixel. What is the actual app difference between samsung and android 2.0 for my likely usage of fitness and the usual smartphone notification updates. For android devices I'm mostly looking at the LG sport and fossil q sport watch. Not usually a fan of the aesthetics of the watches with the large bezels with the seconds marked around the edge.
  13. Military Dial

Forgive me if this is not the right place for the question. I wear my watch on the inside of my wrist. I'm looking for a smart watch that has a rotatably dial. I want one that has the 12 on the stem position where the 3 is normally. I haven't been able to find one. They are called military or driver watchers. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  14. Braille smartwatch

Hello! I found this smartwatch for blind people and I am thinking of getting one for my friend. Does anyone have it? Is it already on market? I would buy it for Christmas, and I am not sure if it is appropriate present
  15. TAG Heuer Announces their first Smartwatch

Very Expensive, but with Options... http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/tag-heuer-connected-modular-45-ultimate-luxury-smartwatch-1611508
  16. Water resistant

I was tired asking for people on how to do setup my apple watch. Here is where I got all my questions answered - http://www.google.com - The best facilitator I ever met.
  17. Fitbit Ionic on sale from Oct. 1st!

I don't think the app store will be huge. Too many platforms to develop for as it is... That's why I like it! And I think it will debut around $350, though it won't be long before it's below $300
  18. I had a friend who had a Moto 360 when it came out. It was fun for "Ok Googling" stuff to get quick answers or check the weather, but it was pretty barebones otherwise. Has anything changed? What can you do with them now?
  19. So I've recently started my mission to lose weight and I'm currently looking to buy my first fitness tracker. Do you find they encourage you to work harder and do more? I think I could set myself daily step goals or calorie loss goals and try to beat it day after day. Would be nice for a tracker to save previous achievements actually.
  20. Fitbit Ionic on sale from Oct. 1st!

I like it a lot. Nice slim design which doesn't stand out and grab attention. I'll bet it costs at least $250 though, that seems to be the low end for new smart watches these days. I'm already using Android Pay as well so this would be really nifty!
  21. I've never heard of these!

Wow! For $22 that looks amazing. 4.9 out of 5 stars for 18k+ reviews as well. Really tempted... I think shipping will take a long time, no? If these are coming from China it will take weeks, I'd like one now. Maybe there is a US retailer I can buy from.
  22. TomTom Touch

Thanks for the swift reply panda! I like the look of the Fitbit Flex 2, any idea how it does on battery life? The Alta HR is a little bit more than what I want to spend though. I just found a good deal on a Sony Smartband Talk too, is that any good?
  23. I've never heard of these!

I haven't heard of those 2 you posted specifically, but I do know some brands on there. Xiaomi is a huge brand, the Mi Band 2 is incredibly popular as you can see here. It just doesn't get any better in terms of value for money. Familiar brands with similar features will cost 3x more at least.
  24. TomTom Touch

I just replied to you in the other thread too. Like I said, the Touch is good enough. In your position, I'd invest a little more and buy a Fitbit Alta HR, it offers much more and is just better all around. You could even get a Fitbit Flex 2 which is cheaper than the Touch and still offers more. Definitely shop around to get the best deal
  25. TomTom Spark vs Garmin Vivofit

The Touch is a really basic tracker but good enough for the price, the Vivofit is almost identical but packs in some additional stuff like cycling and swimming mode. They usually are cheaper though, so no reason to choose the Touch over it in my opinion.
  26. Garmin Vivofit - right for me?

Vivofit is decent but I think you can do better For a little bit extra, you can get a Samsung Gear Fit 2 which is super nice. Has the altimeter you want as well as other additional features like wifi, GPS, better water resistance and notifications from your phone. Looks awesome as well.
  27. Ha! That's really neat. I guess these come with only very basic features as they are geared towards kids? Such a cool idea and look to encourage more activity in kids, they sure need it these days!
