Finally, Pebble has started accepting preorders for the better looking, steel version of their flagship smartwatch, the Pebble Time. Buyers from around the globe can reserve the timepiece by paying $249, and expect to get it shipped by late September, or in six to eight weeks after you confirm your order. The manufacturer is already shipping to the backers.
Currently, the watch is available in Gunmetal Black, Brushed Silver, and Gold finishes, each with an Italian leather band. Matching black, silver, and gold steel bands will be available from Pebble later this year for $49.99 each.
And if you want to get the watch with a steel band, you’ll have to wait a bit longer because Pebble is facing certain production roadblocks. The watch with steel band will cost $299.
