Runtastic unveiled their first wearable device after the company has been acquired by Adidas. The effect of pairing is already noticeable by the very first product: Moment. Unlike its predecessors, Moment is a beautiful, round-faces smartwatch that has the capabilities of a fitness tracker.
The waterproof gadget is compatible with Android smartphones, iPhone and Windows Phone. It tracks your steps taken, calculates calories burned and monitors your sleep patterns, and provides vibration and LED alerts. It will come in four different styles Basic, Fun, Classic and Elite. Basic and Fun are the two unremarkable models and will cost $129, while Classic and Elite are high-end devices, both using stainless steel and leather/textile straps, and will cost $179.
Known mainly for their fitness tracking apps, Runtastic has already launched a couple of wearables. However, Moment is different from any of their previous endeavors because of its more elegant, exquisite design.
The Moment is ideal for fitness freaks who don’t want to sacrifice style. Runtastic is planning to start shipping towards the end of this month.
