Tapping the screen is the most convenient way to process info and interact with others. Yet, you want to do things in as fewer taps as possible. Steve Jobs urged developers to modify the first iPod so that the user could reach the settings menu in no more than three taps, Google wants to let you do things with just one.
According to some recent reports, Android Wear users can expect to see some exciting, new features down the road. The first one is a single tap gesture that will allow the user to interact with the watch with just one tap. What this gesture will actually do, we’ve yet to see, but most probably it will allow the indie developers to get the desired effect by utilizing the built-in feature, instead of having to rely on not-so-powerful hacks and tricks.
The second, and probably more exciting feature, is watch to watch messaging. Apple Watch users already have this functionally in the form of doodles, now the Wear users will also be able to exchange messages, photos, emojis, and stickers, in addition to doodles.
These are the two features that sources have leaked already, but we expect to see some other powerful tricks that the update might bring to your wrist.
