Zopo is one of many Chinese smartphone makers, but it’s okay if you have never heard of them. The company attracted attention last year with their ZP999 ‘Lion Heart’ smartphone, but, since then, has been rather quiet until now, when they released a teaser of a smartwatch on social media.
Zopo smartwatch, as we can see in the teaser, looks pretty much like Motorola’s Moto 360. It has a circular design and probably made of metal. We’re not sure how many models of the smartwatch will be there, but the one shown in the teaser sports gold color.
The company hasn’t divulged any particular details about the watch, but several rumors are making the rounds. The watch will probably be called Z Watch, could feature a heart rate monitor, and is expected to be compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhone. That means, instead of Android Wear, it will run on company’s custom software.
From the company’s past record of making low- to mid-range smartphones, we can expect the price of Zopo smartwatch, or Z Watch, to be on the lower side.
We’ll keep an eye on this elegant looking watch and bring you any details that the company reveals, so stick around by liking our Facebook page.
